DIGITAL PRODUCTION, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT T-LEVEL

Entry Requirements: Students are required to have at least five subjects at a Grade 4 or above. This should include English and Maths. A grade 4 or above in Computer Science is also desirable but notessential.
Course Content:
This two-year T-level course has been created in collaboration with employers and
education providers to meet the needs of the digital industry. As an alternative pathway to
A-levels, Digital Production, Design and Development T-Level integrates classroom-based
learning and practical skills with on-the-job work experience that make up approximately
20% of the course.
On the course you will cover problem solving, IT Programming, digital environments and
cyber security plus explore emerging issues in the digital arena. You will also study
legislation requirements and examine the link between the digital industry and business
sector.
Future Prospects: By providing a mix of practical skills, industry experience and theoretical understanding, it prepares students for entry into skilled employment, an apprenticeship or related technical study via higher education. Focus areas may include Digital development, Computing systems management, Software development or Games development.
