Entry Requirements:  Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 mainly at Grade 6 or above.

Computer Science at Grade 5 or above.

Course Content: You will develop the understanding and ability to apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science including abstraction, decomposition, logic, algorithms, and data representation.

You will have the ability to analyse problems in computational terms through practical experience of solving such problems, including writing programmes, to do so. The capacity to think creatively, innovatively, analytically, logically and critically, and use mathematical skills are also vitally important.

Future Prospects:
This course is a stepping stone to a range of computer courses including computer science and information management.
