COURSES AT NEWMAN COLLEGE

A combination of almost any courses is possible. Use the guide below to work out which pathway is best for you.

Each pathway is two years.

PATHWAY OPTIONS

BTECSs, A Levels, AS Levels or Diplomas can be taken as part of any pathway

Three A-levels (or BTEC Level 3) + re-take courses in GCSE Maths and English Language if grade 4 has not yet been achieved.

Entry Requirements: 6 or more 9 - 4 GCSE grades mostly at Grade 6/Merit or above, including Maths or English Language at Grade 4 or above

Four A-levels (or Level 3 BTECs ) for those students with mainly A*-A or 9-8 grades.

Entry Requirements: 6 or more 9 - 4 GCSE grades mostly at Grade 6/Merit or above, including Maths or English Language at Grade 4 or above

Three Level 3 BTECs + re-takes in GCSE Maths and English Language if grade 4 has not yet been achieved.

Entry Requirements: 5 or more 9 - 4 GCSE grades or BTECS mostly at Grade 4/Merit/pass or above, inc. Maths or English Language at Grade 4 or above
